SRPA AB College Pathankot

SRPA Adarsh Bhartiya College, originally established as Adarsh Bhartiya Mahavidyalaya in 1974, began its journey as an Arts College. With the sincere and timely efforts of visionary philanthropists and educationists of Pathankot, the institution quickly gained the trust and admiration of the local community and began to grow steadily.

The College expanded its academic horizons by introducing the Faculty of Commerce in 1978, followed by the Faculty of Science in 1984. Over time, a variety of job-oriented and career-focused courses have been added to keep pace with modern educational needs. Programs such as BBA, BCA, B.Sc. (Computer Science), B.Sc. (IT), M.Sc. (IT), M.Sc. (Computer Science), B.Sc. (Economics), M.Sc. Mathematics, and M.A. English have enriched the academic portfolio. Vocational subjects for Arts students have also been introduced. We take great pride in announcing that our BBA and BCA programs are now approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Education, Government of India, New Delhi. With the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, four-year Honours Degree Programs have been launched by GNDU starting from the academic session 2024-25.

In the current session (2025-26), new courses under the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode of GNDU have been introduced, including MCA, M.A. (Punjabi), B.Lib, and DCA. It is a matter of pride to be part of this institution that continuously adapts and introduces contemporary programs that meet emerging academic and professional challenges
